<aside> 🗒️ Summary

This morning, I was asked to speak about God's faithfulness. We will look at the story of Elijah, who learned of God's faithfulness as God revealed it to him over time. Elijah, like us, was just a human with weaknesses and moments of weak faith. But what made Elijah special was his faith in God's faithfulness.

As we go through his story from 1 Kings 17 to 19, we see God's faithfulness to Elijah through unorthodox means, like ravens bringing him food and a widow providing for him. And through it all, Elijah learned to trust God's promises and provision.

Eventually, Elijah faced a greater trial when a widow's son became sick and died. Through Elijah's faith and prayer, the boy was brought back to life, and the widow saw the truth of God's word in Elijah's mouth.

In the end, we see that God is faithful to his promises, and as we remain faithful to his word, we can trust that he will provide, heal, and give life even in the midst of trials and adversity.
